Emily Carr University is a post-secondary art school with four levels.  Sky-lit atriums, galleries and exhibit spaces, a natural light-filled library and learning commons, and studios with big north-facing windows are among the features of the LEED Gold-certified structure. This structure expands across four levels of aesthetically organized high-lift concrete floors with all exposed finished concrete.  Despite a rushed timetable and the challenges of no drilling permitted into the floors, this project was a masterpiece.
